Roasted barley - application
Produced from 2-row malting barley. It is produced in the process of roasting selected varieties of barley.
It gives the beer a tart taste full of bitterness. You can also feel strong notes of burnt and smoke.
It is ideal for brewing dark beers such as stouts and porters.
Roasted barley can be used for up to 10% of the grain bill.

Storing roasted barley
Roasted barley should be stored in a clean, cool (<25°C), dry, odorless and pest free area. Then, the time in which unopened packaging can be stored is 12 months for ground material, and 24 months for non-ground material.
Care should be taken to ensure that the material does not come into contact with hot surfaces and that dust from the material is not inhaled.

Milling malt
We offer the possibility of milling any malt available in our store. You can choose whether the malt should be milled or not before adding the malt to the cart.
We can also grind the malt for mashing in an automatic kettle (Brewster Beacon, Klarstein, Coobra, etc.). If you want your malt to be milled in this way (coarser) - let us know about it in the comment to the order for milled malt.
