Carahell malt is a malt used in brewing to impart a malty-sweet taste with a slight hint of caramel. Carahell malt - application
Carahell malt gives beers brewed with it more fullness and deeper color. It also enhances the malt aromas with light caramel notes and the foaminess of the finished beer.
Gives the beer a malty-sweet taste with hints of caramel.
Ideal for brewing beers such as light lager, amber lager, strong lager, pale ale, IPA, amber ale, brown ale, strong ale, wheat beer.
Carahell malt can be used as 10 - 15% of the grain bill (up to 30% for specialty beers).

Carahell malt storage
Carahell malt should be stored in a clean, cool (0-30°C), dry, odorless and pest free area. Then, the time in which unopened packaging can be stored is up to 18 months.
Be careful not to let the malt come into contact with hot surfaces and not to inhale the malt dust.

We offer the possibility of milling any malt available in our store. You can choose whether the malt should be milled or not before adding the malt to the cart.
We can also grind the malt for mashing in an automatic kettle (Brewster Beacon, Klarstein, Coobra, etc.). If you want your malt to be milled in this way (coarser) - let us know about it in the comment to the order for milled malt.
